The University Park community is made up of five neighborhoods, all but two of which are in the heart of the campus. The communities of Circle C, Greenwood Village, and Cedar Bend all surround the quaint, tree-filled green beltway known as Walnut Street. The communities are mostly residential, but they do have shopping, restaurant, and bar options, as well as a host of public transportation services, including the Metrolink and Silver Star Metro Rail lines. The nearest commuter rail stops to the university are the Arlington train station and the Gold Line light-rail line. University Park is also home to the Dallas Northpark College, one of the many traditional schools that are affiliated with the University Park campus. University Park, even more so than University Park Texas, offers easy access to some of Dallas’s finest attractions and a vibrant dining and shopping scene.
