Sri Meenakshi Temple

This Hindu Sri Meenakshi Temple was built in 1982 as a dedication to Shiva’s wife, Meenakshi. It’s the only Hindu temple dedicated to Meenakshi, outside of India and only the third Hindu temple built in the United States. The architectural style is breathtaking and it features a large library and additional temples.

Zychlinski Park

Zychlinski Park is named after a Witold von Zychlinski, a Polish nobleman who came to Pearland TX in 1880 and gave the city its current name. The park has a playground where children play and a nature trail where you can go for a walk. A farmers market is hosted at Zychlinski Park every Saturday of every month.

Gulf, Colorado And Santa Fe Railroad Depot

The historic depot was built by the Santa Fe railroad around the year 1900. After the railroad was built, Pearland TX became a settlement. Early settlers came to the Railroad Depot to pick their mail and other supplies. Today it’s an amazing historical landmark. Information about Missouri City TX can be found here.
